Summer Fishing Report

It has been a great summer season so far for us down here in Southern California with great weather and hot fishing on offer. There has been a nice mix of quantity and quality at the various lakes we have been fishing. Several bass over 7 pounds have hit the deck already and we have had a couple big losses too, but that’s just part of fishing. With the water being warm, there are a lot of options of fishing styles in play across the board which makes for a fun time. Some recent highlights have been crossing paths with aggressive “wolf packing bass” that are grouped up and ready to feed as well as some aggressive topwater strikes. Overall I expect the fishing to remain steady throughout the rest of the summer.
